Citrus Rose Inspired By MFK L’Homme A La Rose
It might not look it on paper, but this is surprisingly unisex.
The citrus takes the lead early on. It’s bright, fresh and does most of the talking whilst the rose sits just underneath as a steady backbone. It’s present, but never heavy. More like a clean rose water accord than the thick, syrupy rose you’ll find in a lot of traditional blends.
That balance is what makes it work. It doesn’t rely on heavy woods to “tone down” the floral side. It genuinely just feels naturally unisex from the start. Light enough for heat, but still has enough presence to keep things interesting. There’s a subtle warmth in the base that rounds everything off, but it never pulls the fragrance away from that fresh, citrus-led profile.
